B.Com. Hons. /Integrated B.Com. + MBA

4th Year and Onwards

On successful completion of 3 years student shall be awarded the degree of B.Com.

But that is not necessarily the end of the journey...!!

# 4th Year Premium option: B.Com. Hons.

  • Students may choose to pursue one more year (4th year) to avail a premium degree of B.Com. Hons. with more credits to help them in further career or higher studies in reputed universities in India as well as abroad.

# 4th & 5th years Premium option: Integrated B.Com. + MBA

  • Students may choose to continue for two more years (4th & 5th years) to avail a premium degree of Integrated B.Com. + MBA having a benefit of the premium professional degree from a reputed institution like GLS University.

The B.Com./B.Com. (Hons.) Dual Specialisation programme aims to build a strong foundation in Accountancy, Management, Banking, Insurance & Finance, and Taxation, Finance & Economics, enabling students to develop comprehensive financial, managerial, regulatory and compliance knowledge. The programme seeks to enhance proficiency in areas such as Financial Reporting, Financial Analysis, Auditing, Taxation, Banking and Insurance, Financial Management, Business Management and Economics, while developing the ability to analyse business situations and make informed and effective decisions. Through contemporary and application-oriented learning, the programme prepares students to address emerging challenges in commercial and business ventures and enhances their readiness for diverse career opportunities as well as higher education and professional pursuits in Accounting, Finance, Banking, Insurance, Taxation, Economics and Management.

The B.Com./B.Com. (Hons.) programme follows a Dual Specialisation framework across four key areas: Accountancy; Banking, Insurance & Finance; Management; and Taxation, Finance & Economics. The curriculum combines core commerce knowledge with specialised learning in Accounting, Financial Reporting, Auditing, Taxation, Banking, Insurance, Financial Management, Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Economics. The framework provides an integrated blend of financial, managerial, regulatory and practical knowledge, preparing students for diverse career opportunities, higher education and professional pursuits.

The first year contains core courses which are common to all students. Students are allowed to choose from the afore-said specialisations as per their area of interest from the second year. Such structure gives students the opportunity to choose courses from a domain of their interest coupled with the freedom to explore other areas at work or when they pursue any post graduate program.

The B.Com. Dual Specialisation Programme comprises six semesters spread over three years.

A student needs to obtain 140 credits over six semesters to obtain the B.Com. Dual Specialisation degree and 4 years to obtain B.com Hons. Dual Specialisation degree.
