The objective of this program is to provide global recognition and opportunities to the students along with their B.Com. qualification.
Considering the growing demand for globally recognised accounting and finance professionals, GLS University offers an integrated B.Com. + ACCA programme. The programme combines the academic foundation of B.Com. with the globally recognised ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) qualification, enabling students to develop expertise in Accounting, Financial Reporting, Taxation, Audit, Financial Management and related areas. The programme aims to provide students with global exposure, professional competencies and enhanced career opportunities while pursuing their B.Com. degree.
The programme integrates the ACCA curriculum with the B.Com. curriculum, allowing students to pursue their undergraduate degree and professional qualification through an aligned academic structure. The curriculum is designed around industry requirements and global accounting and financial practices, with emphasis on financial reporting, taxation, audit, financial management and business analysis. Eligible students receive exemptions from relevant ACCA papers based on the subjects integrated into the B.Com. curriculum. The programme also provides opportunities for additional professional certifications, including IFRS certification, subject to the applicable examination requirements.

There are 13 papers in ACCA programme.
Student doing B.Com + ACCA will be entitled to exemption of 9 papers (out of 13), which are merged into their graduation curriculum of the university.
